Q&As

Do I need to be present in person to buy property? Is a remote purchase possible?

In most cases, the buyer’s personal presence is not required. Purchasing real estate in Germany, Lithuania, and Belarus can be carried out fully remotely, depending on the country, the type of property, and the specific circumstances.

We support transactions where:

  • properties are selected and reviewed remotely;
  • documents are checked and coordinated online;
  • the transaction is completed through a notarized power of attorney;
  • payment and ownership registration are handled without the buyer’s physical presence.

If a power of attorney is required, we assist the client in arranging it correctly:

  • explain the scope and content of the power of attorney;
  • coordinate the wording with the notary and local legal requirements;
  • ensure the document is suitable for the specific transaction and jurisdiction.

We work directly with notaries, lawyers, and registration authorities and represent the buyer’s interests at every stage of the purchase — from initial review to final ownership registration.

If the client prefers or is able to attend in person, we also provide full support for on-site transactions, including property viewings and notarization.

In summary, a property purchase is possible both remotely and with personal presence. The format is chosen individually based on the country, the transaction details, and the client’s preferences.
